A Complete Home Transformation in Lucas, Texas by MTR.

Some projects are a room. This one was the whole house. Working with a family in Lucas, MTR Contractors executed a coordinated whole-home renovation: a permitted living room addition that opened the home to the backyard, a down-to-the-studs custom kitchen, a full master bathroom and guest bathroom remodel, and a complete flooring replacement across more than 2,000 square feet, all sequenced by one general contractor so the trades never worked against each other.

The scope ran deep into the structure. We demolished 255 square feet of exterior wall framing and set a structural beam to extend the living room into the former patio space, then closed the new envelope with a 9-foot, three-panel black-frame aluminum sliding glass door, matching siding, house wrap, and R-13 wall / R-44 blown ceiling insulation. In the kitchen and both bathrooms, we cut and jackhammered through the slab foundation to relocate drains, water supply, and the range's electrical line, the kind of under-slab work that separates a real remodel from a cosmetic one. The project was fully permitted through the city, with plan submittal, trade registration, and inspections managed by MTR end to end.

Custom touches carried the design: a 5' x 8' kitchen island with seating overhang and storage on both sides, ceiling-height cabinetry with a dedicated spice tower, a custom-fabricated range hood, quartz countertops throughout, frameless glass showers in both baths, a freestanding soaker tub, and wood-look ceramic tile flooring flowing through the entire home over 500 linear feet of new baseboards.

One team. One schedule. One accountable contractor, from foundation jackhammer to final coat of paint.
