When does MTR Contractors use Deck-O-Seal in its pools?
We use Deck-O-Seal when sealing expansion joints and material-to-material connections on pool edges (concrete, stone, tile, wood) exposed to chlorinated water and sun.
Repairing cracks and fissures on pool edges, tile joints, and gaps that require elastic sealing.
Protecting pool perimeter areas from leaks and chemical wear (chlorine, algaecides).
Remodeling projects of edges, terraces, and access zones around the pool for aesthetic finish and durable adhesion.
How we do it?

We clean and dry the joint; remove dust, grease, and old caulking residues.

We repair deep cracks and perform any required pre-curing.
JOINT PREPARATION

We place backer rod to control volume and movement.
We apply a continuous, uniform bead; avoid gaps and air bubbles at a steady rate.
We smooth immediately with a damp spatula or finger and remove excess.
24–48 hours for initial cure; total cure time depends on temperature and humidity.
